Funds to bolster West Virginia infrastructure

West Virginia officials said $485,000 has been earmarked for planning and implementing statewide infrastructure projects that include water and wastewater system improvements.

Sens. Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) and Joe Manchin (D-WV) noted the West Virginia Rural Water Association would receive $200,000; the City of Gary Emergency Water System Repair $150,000; and the Calhoun County Commission $135,000 via the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC).
